We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences:



Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
  • Planning, development and delivery of the postgraduate programmes; and

  • Lecturing and tutoring, writing lecture notes, grading of assignments/examination scripts and conducting other teaching activities for the following course(s).

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence for relevant course(s):
 
  • CCA 8091ACF Special Topics in Creative Writing 創意寫作專題
Applicants should possess a recognized higher degree in Creative Writing, Chinese Language and Literature or a relevant discipline. Applicants should have the ability to design topics that effectively complement the existing courses within the programme structure, as well as demonstrate professional expertise and teaching experience in the relevant field. Preference will be given to PhD holders. Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level and solid industry experience would also be an advantage. Candidates are expected to be proficient in both Cantonese and Putonghua.
 
 
Duration of Appointment

The appointee will be required to work during daytime and/or evening on campus for the period from May 2026 to August 2026. For further details, please contact Ms. Tsang at 3120-2535.

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract and will be normally assigned to work less than 68 hours per four consecutive weeks. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions, if applicable.
