We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Development and Alumni Affairs Office:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointees will be responsible mainly for the following:
Assisting in planning and organising fundraising and alumni engagement activities and projects;
Coordinating cultivation and stewardship activities for alumni donors and prospects;
Conducting research and managing data in relation to alumni cultivation and fundraising;
Managing various communication platforms such as alumni website, e-newsletter, social media platforms, and alumni apps;
Assisting the Development and Alumni Affairs Office in providing support to the Hong Kong Metropolitan University Alumni Association, such as administrative and secretarial support;
Performing general administrative duties of the Development and Alumni Affairs Office; and
Performing any other duties as assigned by the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs or his/her nominee.
Irregular working hours and occasional travels outside Hong Kong on a need basis are required.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience, and competence:
A recognised degree with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience;
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills,
Strong IT skills, with a solid understanding of digital marketing tools and database management preferred;
Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and achieve goals efficiently;
Self-motivated, customer-focused, and a good team player; and
Experience in alumni relations and fundraising, organising activities and leading projects, data and statistics management would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
