Job Summary:
The Environmental Designer conceptualizes and develops immersive physical environments that blend 3D spatial design, graphic design, and interior design sensibility into cohesive, branded experiences. This role requires a versatile designer who can move confidently between concept development, 3D modeling/rendering, and polished graphic design execution—supporting retail environments while also contributing graphic design and 3D models for marketing initiatives and employer branding efforts.
Requirements
3D Design + Rendering
- Develop 3D models to explore concepts, form, layout, and spatial flow
- Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent
- Apply materials, lighting, and styling to ensure visuals feel realistic, cohesive, and client-ready
- Support rapid iteration during design development by quickly updating models and renderings based on feedback
Graphic Design
- Create strong, polished graphic visuals that support design concepts, elevate presentations, and enhance marketing content
- Develop brand-aligned visual for clients, marketing, and employer branding initiatives
Interior + Spatial Design
- Support the development of layouts, elevations, and spatial planning for branded environments and interior spaces
- Contribute to material and finish direction, ensuring selections align with both design intent and project goals
- Bring an interior design perspective to proportion, balance, scale, and how a space feels in real life
Concept Development
- Participate in early-phase design ideation and translate loose ideas into clear visual direction
- Create mood boards and design studies that align brand storytelling with physical form and aesthetic
- Help set the creative tone for projects through thoughtful design decisions and strong visual taste
- Balance creativity with buildability, timelines, and real-world constraints
Presentation Design
- Build compelling design presentations that clearly communicate concepts, intent, and overall experience
- Organize design rationale into a clean narrative with strong visual pacing and clarity
- Prepare high-quality visuals, mockups, and layouts that support confident client review and approval
Project Management + Organization
- Maintain clean, organized working files across deliverables
- Manage multiple design tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines and shifting priorities
- Track design updates, revisions, and versioning to ensure smooth workflow and alignment across teams
- Support design standards by keeping templates, assets, and reusable elements organized for team efficiency
Pay Range
Starting Salary $62,000 to $72,000 (+ profit sharing)
