POSITION SUMMARY 

The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue across our boutique hotels and restaurants. This role requires a dynamic leader who can cultivate client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable results in a competitive market. The ideal candidate thrives in a small, entrepreneurial environment and is hands-on in both strategy and execution. 


RESPONSIBILITES: 


SALES STRATEGY & PLANNING: 

  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets for hotels and restaurants. 
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly. 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:  

  • Identify, target, and cultivate new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, events, and partnerships. 
  • Build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, local businesses, and event planners. 

GUEST & CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT: 

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and high-value guests. 
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized outreach and engagement. 

TEAM LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION: 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage any sales or reservations staff. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and F&B teams to coordinate campaigns, promotions, and events. 

REPORTING & ANALYTICS: 

  • Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and revenue metrics. 
  • Provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies and operational efficiency. 



Requirements

 

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in hospitality, including boutique hotels, restaurants, or luxury travel. 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building client relationships. 
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team. 
  • Proficiency with hotel PMS, CRM, and sales analytics tools preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). 
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented 
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator 
  • Creative thinker with a hands-on approach 
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences 

 

SYSTEMS YOU NEED TO KNOW: 

TripleseatCtuit, Focus POS, Microsoft Office, Paylocity  

Toast POS, Stay-in-Touch (Hotel PMS), OpenTable, and CTuit to the system requirements (or 6 months to become proficient with them)
