Empire Eye Physicians, a progressive and nationally recognized ophthalmic medical and surgical practice, is seeking a Retina Surgeon to join our growing team in the beautiful Spokane Valley and North Idaho region. What You’ll Do
As a vital member of our surgical team, you will:
• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical retina care
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a full spectrum of complex retinal conditions
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
• Support clinical excellence by contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice standards
• Participate in building and strengthening our rapidly expanding retina service line

Requirements


• Board-Certified MD (or Board Eligibility with plans to certify)
• Current Washington and Idaho medical licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Fellowship training in Retina/Vitreous Surgery
• Experience in developing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and quality initiatives
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality surgical and clinical care
• Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, staff, and referring providers

• Combined annual compensation: $400,000–$1,000,000 DOE
