About The Company
Applied Behavior Analysis is the development, implementation, and evaluation of natural environment modifications to promote improvement in social behavior. ABA includes the use of observation, data collection and functional analysis of the relationship between the environment and behavior. Our BCBA’s utilize effective data recording methods and will utilize and make instruction decisions based on the Client’s performance data. The services are developed by the BCBA and implemented by the BCBA with the use of direct therapists, usually BACB Registered Behavioral Technicians, RBT. The BCBA supervises the direct therapist at least once per week with the client on an individual basis unless otherwise prescribed.

ABA Support Services is dedicated to supporting, empowering, and strengthening the lives of children and adolescents on the autism spectrum.

ABA Support Services is seeking part-time and full-time Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT)/RBTs in the Scranton area. This role is responsible for providing one-on-one service to clients in a home, school or daycare/community setting. The BHT is responsible for collecting and recording data based on what is observed in terms of behavior while working with clients. BHTs will assist our BCBAs in maintaining up to date graphs as well as summarizing and calculating data. This candidate will also write progress notes and program updates as well as create session materials and stimuli.

This position offers a competitive starting hourly rate, that will increase, based upon your attainment of your Registered Behavior Technician certification. (requires completion of approx. 45 hours of training)

Requirements

Required Background: Background clearances are required for this position Bachelor’s Degree/AA degree (60 credits) with previous experience preferred, but not required. Prior experience working with children required. We provide extensive training! Willingness to learn and reliability is a must!

Must have reliable transportation. This position works on site where our client is located. We will assign you to cases based upon your geographic location and willingness to travel.
