About the Role

Company Description

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries to trade, innovate and grow. We organise over 450 large-scale branded and transaction-led events in over a dozen specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed live and on-demand B2B events where industries convene and people gather to do business.

We also provide data and digital content, as well as year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads.

Job Description

This role is based in our Cairo Festival City Business Park, New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt office.

Reports to: General Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the assigned individual(s) to various business meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring punctuality and professionalism at all times.
  • Plan and execute optimal routes, taking into account traffic conditions, road closures, and time constraints to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Maintain the vehicle in pristine condition, including cleanliness, fueling, and routine basic maintenance checks.
  • Provide assistance with luggage handling and door opening to ensure a seamless experience for passengers.
  • Remain on-call during business hours to accommodate schedule changes and last-minute adjustments.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding conversations, locations visited, and any sensitive information encountered during the course of work.
  • Coordinate closely with assistants or relevant personnel to stay updated on schedule changes and requirements.
  • Adhere to security protocols and procedures when necessary to ensure the safety of passengers.
  • Deliver a smooth, comfortable, and stress-free driving experience at all times.

Working Conditions

  • Early morning starts and/or late evening finishes may be required based on the schedule.
  • Extended waiting periods between drives may occur, requiring patience and flexibility.
  • A professional dress code is mandatory to maintain a polished and presentable appearance.
  • Availability on weekends or holidays may be necessary for special events or business trips.
  • Long working hours may be required during business trips or high-demand periods.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a professional driver with extensive knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes.

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep, including routine checks and maintenance.
  • Discretion: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules, work extended hours, and be available on weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Customer Service Orientation: A proactive approach to ensuring passenger comfort during travel.
