The pay range for this position is $42.16 per hour.
Role Description
The Flexsys America Sauget, IL plant has an immediate opening for a Distribution Generalist. This position is responsible for the internal movements of raw materials and finished products. This position will work closely with production units and logistics. The Distribution Generalist will not have direct supervisory responsibility but will assist with this function when needed. This position reports to the Distribution Services Team Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Devotion to high standards of performance to work in the Distribution Department
- Possess the ability to work and contribute in a self-directed team in a high-performance environment
- Stay abreast of process changes and communicate status
- Maintaining responsibility for the safe operations of plant tractors (spotting forloading and unloading)
- Warehouse inspector duties and aspects of the business that include, but are not limited to, clerical and distribution
- Day shift may develop into shift work, straight middles, or straight nights
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing role
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and interpret equipment drawings
- Keyboarding proficiency
- Must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple tasks at a time
- Strong planning, organization, facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills and a desire to provide “attention to detail”
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SAP
