About the Role

Description

PLK Communities is an owner and manager of residential apartment communities.


Currently we are in search of a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Hands-on Leader
  • Maintain Physical Integrity and Safety of Community
  • Anticipate, identify and correct any and all problems 
  • Perform any and all property maintenance needs
  • Maintenance of the property grounds and common areas
  • HVAC service and repair (willing to train)
  • Prepare apartments for new residents
  • Complete Work Orders
  • Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash
  • Provides leadership, guidance, and development for community Maintenance team

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years multi-family/apartment maintenance experience
  • Supervisory/Lead experience
  • Basic carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical and mechanical systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Tools (hammer, screwdrivers, channel locks, multi meter, Allen wrenches, pliers, knife, flashlight)
  • Able to respond to afterhours emergency calls as part of an on-call rotation
