We provide emergency services such as shelter and meals to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Job Purpose


Supports the Community Engagement Team in carrying out specific tasks to further the development, marketing, and volunteer strategies for TRM. Provides administrative support and assists with planning and execution of projects and events.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages donor database and all integrated systems and analyzes donor activity to identify opportunities in coordination with Development team and Community Engagement team.
  • Assists with, and in some instances, takes the lead alongside the Community Engagement team for event and project planning and implementation.
  • Provides administrative support for the development team as needed(e.g. gift processing and maintenance, reporting, data review, interoffice mail, and supply management).
  • Assists with mail preparation, partner care needs, and other care and cultivation needs. 
  • Assists as needed with staff meetings and trainings (e.g. prints materials, designs flyers, coordinates meals for attendees ).
  • Interacts in a professional and friendly manner with financial partners and TRM staff via phone, written communication, and in-person meetings.
  • Travel throughout Pierce County for errands and functions relevant to the position.
  • Supports the overall strategic efforts of the Community Engagement team.
  • Embodies the values that form our culture to meet the organization’s mission of sharing God’s love, hope, and support with our neighbors in need to uplift communities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support team and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.

Working Conditions

  

Primarily office environment. Events may sometimes take place in nonstandard workplaces.  Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Requirements

  • Proficient in CRM databases (Salesforce experience preferred), Google Drive, Google Calendar, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs.
  • Event planning experience preferred.
  • Money handling experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of marketing.
  • Ability to problem solve, take initiative, and think strategically and creatively.
  • Skilled in clear and effective written, verbal, and electronic communication.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse environment using effective and thoughtful interactions and communication.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and time effectively and efficiently.
  • Access to a vehicle for frequent travel throughout Pierce County and TRM locations.
  • Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability.
  • Acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, mail machines, and computer printer.
  • Communicates information and ideas so others will understand. Exchanges accurate information in these situations.
  • Observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). 
  • Drives personal vehicle.

  • Salary:
    • Hiring Salary Range: $24.84 - $27.32
    • Full Salary Range: $24.84 - $30.06
