About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction drawings? MyOutDesk is seeking an Estimator (Construction) | Técnico de mediciones y presupuestos to support U.S.-based estimating and analysis teams. We need a "can-do" specialist who is ready to take ownership of the entire takeoff process—from the essential tasks of setting scales and organizing markups to the complex work of reading architectural/civil plans and extracting precise quantities. You will work directly with U.S. project leads, providing clean and auditable data. If you are coachable, highly technical, and ready to show initiative from Day 1 in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

  • Plan Interpretation: Review U.S. architectural, civil, and structural plan sets to identify where quantities (linear feet, square feet, counts) are derived.
  • Bluebeam Mastery: Set up and calibrate scales correctly; apply naming conventions and layers so all quantities are easily auditable.
  • Data Synthesis: Move seamlessly from performing basic material counts to exporting complex takeoff summaries into Excel for lead review.
  • Proactive Communication: Flag conflicts, missing information, or scale issues early and maintain a "Clarifications" list for the U.S. lead.
  • File Management: Maintain a rigorous filing structure and version control for all project folders.
  • Versatile Execution: Adapt quickly to addenda and revisions, ensuring the estimating team always has the most current quantities.
  • 3+ years of professional experience (1–3+ years must be in reading construction drawings and performing takeoffs).
  • U.S. Ecosystem Exposure: Familiarity with U.S. construction standards, imperial units (ft, SF, LF), and architectural documents.
  • Software: High proficiency in Bluebeam Revu is mandatory.
  • Language: Strong written and verbal English for professional notes and clarification questions.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Competitive salary with an indefinite contract and full Peruvian legal benefits.

Healthcare: Private RIMAC EPS coverage.

Work Style: Full-time, on-site in our San Isidro office.

Training: Exposure to high-level U.S. engineering workflows and modern takeoff tools.
