Job Description

We are seeking a professional and decisive Security and Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan, Thailand. As a key member of our leadership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security and loss prevention strategies to protect our assets, employees, and customers.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee security and loss prevention policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage and maintain security systems, including CCTV and access control
  • Lead investigations into security breaches, thefts, and other incidents
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and government agencies as needed
  • Train and supervise security personnel and loss prevention teams
  • Analyze security data and prepare detailed reports for upper management
  • Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws and regulations related to security
  • Develop and manage emergency response plans
  • Oversee inventory control systems and procedures to minimize shrinkage
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging security technologies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security and loss prevention management
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing security strategies
  • Strong knowledge of security management systems and loss prevention techniques
  • Expertise in risk assessment, CCTV surveillance, and emergency response planning
  • Proficiency in inventory control systems and shrinkage reduction methods
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills in both Thai and English
  • In-depth understanding of Thai labor laws and regulations related to security
  • Experience in retail or hospitality security operations preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
