Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HVAC Service Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically proficient individual who thrives on leading a team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of HVAC service and maintenance, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest level of quality control. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple technicians.


Duties and Responsibilities:

As an HVAC Service Manager, your primary duties will include

  • Supervising, training, and mentoring a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Overseeing the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
  • Coordinating with project managers and other construction team members to ensure HVAC work aligns with the overall project timeline and budget.
  • Developing and implementing HVAC maintenance procedures and standards to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Participating in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for HVAC projects.
  • Keeping abreast of latest HVAC technology and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.



Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting role, you must possess the following

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the commercial HVAC service industry
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or in a similar leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial HVAC service and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic and servicing tools and equipment.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different job sites.
