Join the YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South as a Summer Camp Counselor and be a difference-maker! An unforgettable summer isn’t just about fun activities and field trips—it’s about the leaders who create memorable experiences for kids. We’re looking for high-energy, positive role models who are ready to lead, inspire, and engage in an action-packed summer!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- Previous experience working with school-age children (day camp experience a plus!)
- Experience in sports, arts & crafts, music, skits, outdoor games, or aquatics is a bonus!
- CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention Training (must be completed within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lead, participate, and have fun in both indoor & outdoor activities
- Ability to attend the mandatory summer day camp training.
