Pullman & Mercure King George Square is a vibrant 438 room twin towered hotel which acts as a sanctuary for leisure and business travellers. Located opposite King George Square, City Hall and ideally situated in the heart of Brisbane CBD the hotel has some of the largest conference spaces in Brisbane incorporating 2 ballrooms. The hotel also features the amazing and extremely popular venues of Goldfinch Restaurant and Street Cafe, & Sixteen Antlers Rooftop.

Job Description
Handle all reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all guests.
Provide detailed information on room types, rates, availability, and special offers, tailoring recommendations based on guest preferences.
Process, modify, and confirm reservations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to hotel policies.
Offer personalised services for VIP guests and special events, ensuring every detail is handled with care.
Collaborate closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, and Sales teams to ensure smooth guest transitions from reservation to check-in.
Maintain and update guest profiles, ensuring preferences and special requests are recorded for future stays.
Monitor inventory and room availability to maximise hotel occupancy and revenue.
Resolve guest issues or booking discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
Keep up to date with hotel promotions, packages, and services to effectively upsell and enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
A genuine people person who can work collaboratively within the team & stakeholders alike.
Outstanding professional communication and active listening skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and confidently on the phone for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of Opera Cloud, Fastcom, Resaweb preferred
Have Full working rights in Australia
