Job Description

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. 

THE MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Analyse business processes, procedures, and current ICT systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimal practices, system functionality, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, users, and teams to gather, document, and refine business and system requirements, translating them into clear functional specifications and proposals for system modifications or new components.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure (including cloud platforms, servers, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, VMware, and related environments) to pinpoint performance issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Propose and recommend system upgrades, additional features, or new solutions to better align with user needs and business objectives.
  • Lead the deployment of solutions, including developing and executing test plans to ensure quality, reliability, integrity, and compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance and act as a key reference point in system-related projects, decision-making, workflow prioritisation, and meeting deadlines.
  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, such as system specifications, requirements, procedures, policies, and performance reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor system performance and health; conduct root cause analysis on complex issues and coordinate resolutions to support stability and uptime.
  • Support system implementation, optimisation, and ongoing maintenance (including configuration, upgrades, and security measures) across cloud, VoIP, and infrastructure environments.
  • Deliver Tier 2/3 support for technical issues, user training, and on-site/remote assistance as needed to drive effective adoption.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud services, Azure AD, and IT infrastructure.
  • ITIL certification (desirable)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Australian full drivers license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Analyst.
  • Salary Offer: AUD 75,000 - 90,000
