About the Role

Description

Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.

Pay: $19.75/hr+, or more DOE.

This position is on a hybrid working schedule with occasional required days in-office.  


Your Purpose will be:

The person in this position will be responsible for all appraisal, title orders, and updates. Reviewing appraisal and title work to verify it meets regulations and prevents the Credit Union from risk. This person will be responsible for verifying all compliance with Appraisal and Title ordering. Will also oversee all tracking, follow-up, payment and Imaging of appraisal and title work is completed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all appraisal and title orders and status updates. 
  • Examine appraisal upon receipt to resolve any deficiencies, follow up on any concerns and validate all rules and regulations are met. 
  • Facilitate revisions to appraisal and assist with general appraisal related issues. 
  • Perform Appraisal review and update appraisal fields in mortgage platform. 
  • Process Appraisal through UCDP.
  • Examine Title to ensure all issues are identified and perform title review. 
  • Follow-up with title companies and processors to resolve any concerns. 
  • Complete Change of Circumstance documents needed based on Appraisal and title work. 
  • Log and image all Appraisal, Title documents and reviews in mortgage lending platform. 
  • Receive, post, and track all Appraisal and Title payments including handling any outstanding invoices. 
  • Complete and respond to all Appraisal/Title emails and inquiries. 
  • Assist with phone inquiries from departments and vendors.
  • Build good relationships with departments and vendors.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements

The experience you need to succeed:

  • One to two years of similar or related real estate experience.
  • Secondary Market, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHLB, FHA and VA experience preferred. 
  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
  • Proficient with standard office business machinery and software.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Works primarily in a remote office environment. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and reach. A computer, phone -possibly including a smart phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
