 SPEECHCOM, INC is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a passionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Supportive and Collaborative School-Based Team in Riverside, California. Position Highlights

  • Rate of Pay: $65-70 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
  • Full-Time: 30 Hrs/week

What YOU Need

  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active License in Occupational Therapy (State of California)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and families.
  • Must possess sufficient technology skills to complete IEP documentation and communicate effectively via email.

Requirements

 Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance student mobility and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to ensure effective discharge planning and continuity of care.
  • Educate parents and families on treatment goals.
  • Document student progress and adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Provide support and guidance for students with disabilities and those requiring early intervention.

Required Skills:

Skill communicating verbally and in writing with students, faculty members, and parents so that all parties understand the program and the degree of progress being made. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Education and Experience:

Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy

CA state-issued license as an Occupational Therapist
