Job Description: 
  • Provide routine direct nursing support to residential group homes in Southeastern Massachusetts (Attleboro, North Attleboro, Easton, North Dighton, and Taunton)
  • Responsible for monitoring medication administration, and on-going health status of program clients
  • Ensure that programs are compliant with State and Federal regulations regarding health and safety 
  • Communicate healthcare information to families and/or residential providers
  • Under the supervision of the RN, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare services related to individual needs
  • Assist and train staff in medical knowledge and medication audits

 

Education, Experience and Special Skills:  

  • Valid Massachusetts LPN licensure  
  • One year experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in residential setting preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred, but we can assist in getting certified if needed)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred
  • Familiarity of MAP certification & Safety Care Certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)
