LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is hiring a Donor Care Supervisor in Gainesville, FL to lead a team of dedicated specialists who are responsible for ensuring every donor interaction reflects the care and professionalism behind our lifesaving mission.


What You’ll Do

· Oversee daily operation of the Donor Care team, guiding specialists in assisting our donors with questions, appointment support, and donor incentive programs

· Provide coaching and mentoring to improve team performance and donor experience

· Audit donor communications to ensure, quality, consistency, and adherence to organizational guidelines

· Address and resolve donor-related issues escalated from the team

· Manage electronic gift card orders, including for special drive requests and promotion

· Assist the Director of Recruitment with special projects and initiatives, as needed

Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required

· Valid driver’s license required; must meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s requirements

· Prior supervisory experience, preferred

· Ability to coach, support, and motivate a customer service team

· Strong customer service and active listening skills

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

· Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities

· Ability to establish effective working relationships with coworkers and the public

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. We are committed to meeting the blood supply needs of hospitals and their patients by providing the highest quality blood components and services. With more than 45 donor centers, 55 bloodmobiles and 2,000 blood drives a month, our LifeSouth team is dedicated to making sure the blood is there when you or your family is in need.
