About the Role
Description
Position: Lead Direct Support Professional Float
Location: Group Homes at The Arc Western Montana
What We Offer:
- Starting rate of $18.50 an hour
- Increase to $19.00 an hour upon successful completion of paid training and certifications
- Plus! $1 per hour shift differential for time worked 11pm - 7am for up to $21 per hour
- Full-time, 40-hour per week schedule
- Overnight shift: 11pm – 7am
- Paid Train-the-Trainer certification so you can lead with confidence
- Fully paid training in CPR, First Aid, Mandt, and more

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for daily living activities including meals, hygiene, and medication assistance
- Visit multiple homes each night as needed and assist with filling overnight shifts
- Train and guide overnight staff, ensuring adherence to program standards and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and client records in electronic systems
- Support consistency of care by bridging communication between shifts
- Perform household tasks such as deep cleaning, inventory, and ensuring homes meet licensing requirements
- Create beneficial client projects for use by other shift staff

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Previous caregiving experience is required, ideally as a Direct Support Professional, CNA, PCA, or similar role
- A valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities during overnight shifts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
