Is this the role for you?

We’re looking for a skilled and customer‑focused Field Service Engineer to deliver break‑fix support, installations, and technical services across our printer and audio‑visual product range. If you enjoy hands‑on work, solving problems, and working directly with customers, this role offers a rewarding and varied day‑to‑day experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality pre‑ and post‑sales technical support through scheduled Service Orders
  • Complete on‑site and remote hardware and software installations, including securing wall fixtures and celling mounts for our Audio-Visual equipment
  • Provide clear and effective end‑user training on our solutions
  • Diagnose and resolve software issues logged via Service Orders
  • Attend Field Service calls and consistently meet customer satisfaction targets
  • Communicate machine faults and service outcomes professionally and courteously
  • Follow all processes for chargeable service work outside contracted agreements
  • Document workflow or site changes made outside the original project scope
  • Accurately record and account for all spare parts and consumables used

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a similar Field Service or technical support role
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem‑solving ability

To Succeed in This Role

This position suits someone with strong technical capability and a willingness to learn. Full training across our products and services will be provided.

To be successful in this role:

  • Experience resolving technical or network‑related issues (highly desirable)
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to obtain a WWCC, Police check, Working from Heights and White Card
  • Confidence working independently on client sites
  • A strong customer‑first mindset and professional presentation
  • Proactive identification and management of potential technical issues
  • Experience in IT, print/copy, or industrial print environments (advantageous)
