As lead of the Software Delivery Accelerator (SDA) Center responsible for the Devops system within Julius Baer and its organisation. To provide tools, methods and processes to support the organisation, its projects and initiatives. Being an instrumental part in the transformation of testing into the agile world and to lead the roadmap from a delivery and quality assurance perspective for Julius Baer.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, build and maintain our CI/CD platform, enabling our application teams to efficiently develop, test, deploy and release their software
  • Closely collaborate with development teams, providing guidance and support when they onboard to our platform
  • Push our DevOps transition forward by optimizing related processes and implementing underlying supporting CI/CD platform
  • Perform lifecycle for our different CI/CD tools (running on different platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes or Virtual Machines on premise) to ensure security, availability, and maintainability of the platforms
  • Coordinate with stakeholder
  • Collaborate with projects and support them to reach best possible quality on their deliverables

Competencies:

  • Previous experience as a tech lead
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • You have a can-do attitude, are pragmatic and open-minded
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Good communication, planning and teamwork skills
  • Motivated to work in an agile team and commonly reaching ambitious goals

YOUR PROFILE

Education and Required Skills:

  • Proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience as a CI/CD and cloud engineer, with a strong focus on Golang, Java, .NET and JS technologies
  • Hands-on experience in working with Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in automating regular lifecycle activities of our various CI/CD platforms is a plus
  • Familiar with Infrastructure-as-code, e.g. using Ansible and Terraform
  • Full Stack development experience is a plus
