Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Responsibilities:

  • As a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA), you will temporarily be responsible for supervising the clinical and administrative affairs for your facility.
  • You will oversee all staff and personnel.
  • You will manage the day-to-day processes that involve your facility (i.e.., financial matters, medical care, supplies).
  • You will coordinate and provide leadership to each clinical, managerial, and custodial team and ensure that they work together.

Requirements

Licensed Nursing Home Administrator Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid and current LNHA in the State of Illinois.
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2 years or more experience as a nursing home administrator.
  • RN or MD preferred.
  • A positive disposition and the ability to work well with others.
  • Highly developed leadership skills.
