TFE provides online ordering, bar coding, and kits, in addition to Kanban or Just-In-Time ordering for customers. TFE also provides on-site plumbing of hydraulic systems with hose, tubing and hydraulic adapters. These services complement the full line of power transmission products from manufactures like Baldor/Dodge, IDC-USA, Koyo Bearing, Martin Sprocket & Gear, Nord Gear, The Gates Rubber Company, Rexnord, Eaton Synflex, and so many more.
About the Role

Family-owned and -operated since 1964, TFE provides high-quality Fluid Power and Power Transmission products to northeast and central Indiana, northwest Ohio and southern Michigan. TFE is a growing company with emphasis on quality products and service for the OEM customer and the end user.


We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources professional with experience in a production or manufacturing environment who is comfortable working with systems, people, and process-driven work. This role plays a key part in production recruiting, safety training coordination, and policy maintenance, working closely with both HR leadership and production teams.


Summary:

Supports HR operations in an industrial production environment, with focus on production recruiting, safety training coordination, and policy maintenance.


Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and interview hourly production employees
  • Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation
  • Schedule, track, and document safety training
  • Support safety compliance and audits
  • Update HR policies and employee handbook materials
  • Maintain employee records and respond to policy questions

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm


Compensation:

$26/hr+ DOE

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of HR or recruiting experience in a production or manufacturing environment 
  • Proven experience supporting hourly production workforces
  • Experience with interviewing and hiring for production roles
  • Working knowledge of safety training requirements and HR compliance basics
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organization


Preferred:

  • Experience coordinating/leading safety programs or OSHA-related training
