Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc. (ESCCI) is a private, not-for-profit community-based organization dedicated to serving older adults in the twenty-two towns of Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties. We are the federally designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and the state designated Aging Services Access Point (ASAP) as well as the Aging and Disability Resource Consortium (ADRC) for our three county area.

The organization acts as a central source for information and referral, as an advocate, collaborator, and catalyst, as a coordinator of services and care, as an educator, and as a provider of direct services.

We are currently hiring a Nutrition Site Support employee. As a Nutrition Site Support employee, you will be responsible for ensuring coverage and coordinating the Home Delivered Meals and Senior Dining Programs at our dining sites.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8-1, 20 hours per week. Hourly pay rate is $22.28


What do you need to be considered for this position?

 

  • Ability to collaborate, take initiative, provide/ receive feedback.
  • Excellent computer skills required. 
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Ability to communicate and work with the elderly and community resources serving the elderly population.
  • High school graduate
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Travel throughout the service area including the islands. Valid MA driver’s license and car required
  • Food handling experience preferred, but not required.
