About the Role

Description

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team, providing financial leadership that supports sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term financial health. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on leadership, ensuring our financial systems, controls, and processes are built to scale.


The CFO will be responsible for: 

  • Leading Soapy Joe’s financial strategy, supporting growth, expansion, and long-term planning.
  • Providing strategic insight on capital structure, financing, investments, and M&A opportunities.
  • Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Ensuring strong financial operations, compliance, internal controls, and reporting.
  • Optimizing cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
  • Partnering with executive leaders to improve margins, manage costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversight ERP systems and financial tools (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI), driving process improvements.
  • Identifying and mitigating financial and operational risks.
  • Presenting clear, actionable financial reporting to the executive team and Board.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • CPA and/or CFA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including senior or CFO-level roles.
  • Proven success in FP&A, capital management, compliance, and corporate strategy.
  • Experience in high-growth or multi-unit environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial process optimization.
