Hampel Corp - Texas is located in Fredericksburg, TX. Hampel Corp's World Headquarters is based in Germantown, WI.

We are professional and innovative; our goal is to provide high quality metal components that compliment Hampel's Calf'Tel's line of plastic Animal Care products, which are sold worldwide.

We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Metal Fabricator on 1st shift (7:30am-3:30pm - two 15 minute breaks), you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to specifications and instructions. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings 
• Use common metal fabrication tools and equipment
• Perform cutting, and metal fabrication, and finishing
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks including drilling, grinding, and machining
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal materials
• Operate forklifts as needed - will train
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications:

• Dependable transportation to work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in basic math calculations
• Some knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes is a plus
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
