The clubhouse offers a fully stocked golf shop; men’s and women’s locker facilities; Chester’s Restaurant for fine dining; The Pub for casual dining and beverages; and a variety of banquet spaces to meet every need from the small business meeting to an elaborate wedding reception. The management and staff of the club are focused on delivering fine services and amenities as well as superior quality athletic programs and facilities.
About the Role

Description

Edina Country Club is currently hiring pool snack bar servers and bartenders. Candidates should be comfortable working evening and weekend shifts as well as required days including Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor day. 


Position Overview

Pool Snack Bar Server/Bartender is responsible for providing food and beverage service to members and guests at the pool. Ensures customer satisfaction by processing transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations at the outdoor Pool Snack Bar.
  • Actively serves members and guests poolside by proactively waiting on them to determine if they have any food or beverage needs.
  • Make drinks and cocktails as needed for members.
  • Stocks and replenishes snack bar areas as needed and ensures work areas are stocked and supplied with correct ingredients.
  • Utilizes POS system to enter orders.
  • Works in tandem with pool cooks to ensure orders are correct, of good quality, and timely.
  • Performs opening, running and closing side work assignments.
  • Ensures work station and surrounding area is clean and sanitized properly according to health code guidelines.
  • Ensures that all set-ups for events have taken place and everything is in order and ready to begin on–time per requirements.
  • Refers to Pool Snack Bar Manager/Supervisor and Director of F&B for questions and concerns.
  • Addresses any concerns or problems that arise during events and handles appropriately.
  • Establishes professional and hospitable rapport with each guest served, and promotes and maintains member and guest relations.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings as requested and supports all ECC initiatives and programs and requested by management.
  • Attends and participates in on-going training sessions.
  • Complies with appearance and grooming standards as per Club policy.
  • Maintains favorable business relationships with peers, vendors, and other Club employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Teams with other ECC departments to ensure exemplary customer service and adherence to policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to anticipate situations, prioritize tasks, and take prompt action.
  • Demonstrated dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to lift 25–100 pounds as needed.
  • Capable of standing or walking for extended periods during job duties.
  • May be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions while performing job responsibilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Previous serving or hospitality experience (preferred)
