Job Title: Pediatrician
Salary: $140–$160 per hour
Location: Tustin, CA
Schedule: Part- Time or Full-Time (Flexible Weekdays)
Position Purpose: Under the supervision of the Clinical Director/Medical Director, the Pediatrician is responsible for providing comprehensive primary care services to infants, children, and adolescents at the organization’s clinic in Tustin, CA. The Pediatrician serves as an essential member of the clinical care team and supports the delivery of high-quality pediatric care for a diverse patient population.
Core Duties and responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine pediatric examinations, including well-child visits, developmental screenings, and preventive health assessments.
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care to infants, children, and adolescents in accordance with established clinical guidelines and standards of care.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Administer and monitor immunizations according to recommended pediatric vaccination schedules.
- Monitor physical, emotional, and developmental growth milestones and identify potential delays or concerns.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures to support clinical decision-making.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care.
- Educate patients and parents or guardians regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, safety, and developmental expectations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings, provider meetings, and organizational initiatives to support clinical excellence and patient care outcomes.
- Maintain required medical licensure, board certification, and continuing medical education (CME) credits.
- Provide culturally competent and patient-centered care to diverse populations.
- Support the organization’s mission by providing compassionate care to underserved and vulnerable pediatric populations.

Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics preferred; Board Eligible required.
- Current and unrestricted California Medical License required or ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Current DEA registration and ability to prescribe controlled substances in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience in pediatric primary care preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (Required)
Work Schedule:
- Position available as Part-Time or Full-Time.
- Part-Time: Minimum of 2 days per week, working full 8-hour shifts (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
- Full-Time: Ideally 4 days per week (5 days may be available depending on operational needs).
- Weekday schedule is flexible based on provider availability and clinic needs.
- Providers must be available to work the full scheduled 8-hour clinic day.
- Position expected to begin within the next 3–6 months to support services at the new Tustin clinic location.
