About the Role
Overview

Location - Purchase, New York or Chicago Illinois

 

The PBUS sector Commercial Planning & Marketing team is seeking a Sr. Analyst of Commercial Strategy supporting our OmniEcosystem Channel. This role plays a critical part in supporting the development and execution of commercial strategies by providing data-driven insights, managing reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in syndicated data tools such as Circana.


Responsibilities

  • Support the development of holistic commercial strategy
  • Support the execution of the OmniEcosystem Commercial Strategy by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare and maintain content for key leadership meetings and commercial updates, including AOP, OpComm, Board of Directors, and customer presentations.
  • Leverage syndicated data tools (e.g., Circana) to support business performance analysis, identify growth opportunities, and build compelling sales stories.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Category Insights, Finance, Shopper Marketing) to support the development of pricing, pack, and promotional strategies.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) priorities and key initiatives, ensuring alignment across customer and commercial teams.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $88,200 - $147,650.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required;.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial strategy, category management, business analytics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in syndicated data tools (e.g., Circana,) and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across teams.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience supporting customer teams or commercial planning functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing insights from complex information.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
