About the Role

Position Summary

Are you ready to make a real impact on the environment while experiencing the rugged beauty of southern Colorado? In Trinidad, you'll dedicate your efforts to vital environmental stewardship, including trail maintenance, invasive species removal, pollinator garden upkeep, and interpretive programs with the picturesque Trinidad Lake backdrop. Beyond your important work, Trinidad serves as a gateway to unparalleled outdoor adventures, from hiking and biking the trails around town and in our two state parks, to fishing and boating 3 well-stocked lakes or the Purgatoire River that runs through town. You can also explore the historic downtown, drive the scenic Highway of Legends, and immerse yourself in the area's rich history and thriving arts scene.
