Outback Spirit Tours is seeking passionate and professional Darwin-based Driver Guides to join our team for the 2026 touring season, commencing soon.

As a leader in luxury small-group adventure travel, Outback Spirit delivers unforgettable journeys through some of Australia’s most breathtaking and remote regions. Our guests are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking for experienced Driver Guides who bring energy, professionalism, exceptional storytelling skills, and a genuine passion for the Top End.

The majority of our touring season runs March to October 2026. While on tour, accommodation and meals are provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

This is your opportunity to explore some of Australia’s most spectacular landscapes, connect with remarkable communities, and create lifelong memories for your guests.

 

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking solo Driver Guides with strong knowledge of Australia’s Top End, including Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks. Ideal candidates will be confident working in remote environments, adaptable to seasonal conditions, and passionate about delivering premium small-group travel experiences in the remote and iconic landscapes of Northern Territory.

Requirements:

  • Medium Rigid Licence or higher (essential)
  • Commercial Passenger Vehicle Endorsement (essential)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (valid within 12 months)
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Required guiding accreditations for Kakadu National Park
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Previous on-road touring experience highly regarded
