About the Role
Website Developer & IT Website Development: Technical Support: Database Management: Collaboration with Teams: Code Quality and Best Practices: SEO & Analytics: Security Maintenance: Technical Documentation: Continuous Learning:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites and web applications.
- Implement responsive design to ensure usability across various devices and browsers.
- Provide technical support for web-related queries and issues.
- Diagnose and resolve website and server problems swiftly and efficiently.
- Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Use SQL and other database technologies to retrieve and store data.
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and marketing teams to deliver comprehensive web solutions.
- Participate in project planning and strategy sessions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Follow best practices for coding, version control, and testing.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.
- Utilize analytics tools to monitor site performance and user engagement.
- Ensure the security and reliability of the web infrastructure.
- Perform regular updates and security audits to prevent breaches.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for websites and applications.
- Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skillsets.
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in web development or IT support.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining web applications.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with backend technologies such as PHP, Node.js, or Python.
- Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of database management (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
