Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres North of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen and Glendell open cut mines. The combination of these two operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of Maintenance team, you will safely and effectively maintain all heavy earth moving plant and equipment to a high standard, meeting required targets.
In this role you will be working on modern mining equipment with a focus on achieving availability and reliability targets driving maintenance performance and safety standards across site.
The requirements for success in this role include:
Electrical trade qualification or equivalent
Mobile equipment maintenance experience including Caterpillar, Hitachi and/or Liebherr
Open Cut Coal Mining experience (desirable)
Operational Technology experience (desirable)
Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems and knowledge of SAP (desirable)
Prioritise safety and follow our No Plan, No Work policies, and procedures
Work well in a team environment
Solid communication skills
