Private Wealth Advisor

Our financial advisers partner closely with global experts across seven professional domains through the Great Eastern Private Client Privileges Advisory Panel. Together, we co create bespoke strategies and provide high quality advice to support our clients’ long term wealth objectives.
As a Private Wealth Advisor, you will serve as a senior trusted advisor to Great Eastern’s Private High Net Worth (HNW) clients. You will lead complex wealth planning and succession conversations and deliver bespoke portfolio solutions and sophisticated legacy strategies aligned with clients’ needs, wealth planning objectives, risk profiles, and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will provide thought leadership by translating market insights and product expertise into high impact advisory solutions across client personal family and business protection portfolio.
We are seeking experienced, values driven professionals with strong technical expertise and the ambition to make a meaningful impact in the HNW wealth advisory space. This role reports to the Head of GEFA Private Wealth Advisory.
- Providing specialised advice on insurance products and wealth planning aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with HNW clients and their families.
- Build Great Eastern HNW business and establish strong referral relationships within Great Eastern and strategic partners.
- Drive HNW & UHNW sales growth as a leader and influencer. Contribute to Great Eastern HNW developments.
- Support clients and strategic partners throughout the insurance process including case administration, and periodic portfolio review.
- Conduct and organize training sessions and client events to enhance insurance product knowledge and promote integrated wealth and succession planning solutions.
- Monitor and report on insurance activities, including pipeline tracking, sales reports, and regulatory updates, ensuring all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Degree in Banking, Finance, or related field. CMFAS Modules 5, 9, and 9A are an advantage.
10 years+ as a licensed adviser with front line experience and performance record in HNW insurance sales.
Strong knowledge of life insurance solutions for HNW clients.
Possess relevant legal, tax, trust and wealth planning qualifications and experience
Excellent communications and presentation skills. Fluency in Asian languages will be a plus.
