Responsibilities:

· Deliver professional and courteous guest service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay.

· Extend a warm greeting to arriving guests, creating a positive first impression of the hotel.

· Handle telephone inquiries with courtesy and efficiency, providing helpful information regarding hotel services, guest registration, local attractions, and travel directions.

· Efficiently manage guest reservations, including generating, confirming, canceling, and modifying bookings as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

· Provide assistance to guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, offering personalized service to enhance their experience.

· Handle billing transactions with precision, including computing bills, processing payments, and providing change when necessary.

· Assist guests in making reservations for restaurant dining, transportation, or entertainment, ensuring a seamless experience.

· Promote current hotel and franchise marketing programs to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.

· Complete daily shift responsibilities checklist to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

· Demonstrate effective teamwork skills, fostering positive relationships and collaboration within a diverse team environment.


Must be available to work in the evenings and on weekends as needed.

Requirements

•Education or Experience- High school diploma or GED equivalent; no prior experience is required.

•Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: read and comprehend instructions, safety rules and memos. Speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence using appropriate pauses, emphasis and punctuation.

•Mathematical Skills- Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to: add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.

•Reasoning Ability- Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to: apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to professionally deal with problems in standardized situations.
