Hubbard Supplyhouse is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our family-like atmosphere. We are a plumbing and irrigation supply house that also specializes in kitchen, bath, appliances, and lighting. We proudly serve local plumbers, builders, and homeowners in bringing beautiful and functional living spaces to life. The Warehouse Associate – Picker plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by preparing, staging, and loading outgoing shipments with accuracy and care. This position ensures timely fulfillment of customer orders and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shipping environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a “team first” environment and has a passion for customer service. 



Responsibilities and Duties:


Shipping Operations

  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup
  • Load delivery trucks safely and accurately according to route and order requirements
  • Verify outgoing shipments against packing slips and sales orders
  • Ensure proper labeling, handling, and secure loading of all outgoing inventory
  • Assist with maintaining accurate shipping documentation and paperwork

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate effectively with warehouse leads, drivers, and counter sales staff
  • Report shortages, damages, or shipping delays to the appropriate supervisor
  • Work cooperatively with team members to meet daily shipping goals
  • Follow direction from warehouse leadership to maintain steady and accurate workflow

General Warehouse Support

  • Keep staging and loading areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Assist in other warehouse areas as needed, including stocking or receiving
  • Follow all company safety procedures and use equipment responsibly

Job Requirements


Requirements

 

Required:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or physical labor role
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • Basic computer and scanning tool proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a consistent pace

Preferred:

  • Experience in plumbing, irrigation, or wholesale distribution environments
  • Familiarity with shipping software or ERP systems
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt during high-volume periods
  • Dependable, team-oriented work style
