Clinical Supervisor, Psychotherapy (Hybrid | LCSW-Owned Practice)

Description
Most practices talk about excellence in mental health care. At Zeeva, we've spent years building a culture that actually lives it. LCSW-owned, trauma-informed, and built on the belief that excellence and humanity don't just coexist; they are essential together.
Salary: $110,000 – $140,800 | Full-Time | Hybrid Remote in Los Angeles
We are a woman and LCSW-owned psychotherapy practice doing something rare: delivering premium, high-quality therapy while remaining deeply committed to accessibility, including working directly with Medi-Cal and Medicare.
We are a practice built on the core belief that excellence and humanity don't just coexist; they are essential together. That the warmest, most authentic and connected teams produce the most extraordinary clinical work. That when therapists feel truly seen, supported, cherished, and valued as whole human beings, we show up and love the work we do.
We believe supervision is sacred work and one of the most powerful investments we make in the future of mental health care. We cultivate authentic and real connection, the kind that shapes a clinician, changes a career, and ripples out into hundreds of lives. At Zeeva, our mission is to care for one another, bring light to the world, and advance trauma-informed, whole-person mental health: one life, one family, one community at a time.
Our clinicians regularly tell us, unprompted, that they have never felt so genuinely valued and seen as whole people anywhere they've worked. That's not an accident. It's the result of years of intentional culture-building led by our LCSW founder, who remains actively involved in the clinical and human side of this practice, not as an overseer, but as a fellow clinician who understands this work from the inside and is personally committed to getting it right.
We are now looking for a Clinical Supervisor who is excited to join us in our next chapter.
Who We Are
Heart-Centered. Empathy leads. We show up warm, present, grounded, and authentically human, with our clients, our colleagues, and ourselves.
Inspired Learning. We are forever students. Curiosity and lifelong learning are in our DNA. We seek wisdom, evolve our skills, and never stop growing.
Dedicated to Excellence. High standards of clinical quality and exceptional work honor the sacred trust our clients, clinicians, and community place in us.
The Power of We. No one works alone. We practice generosity, collaboration, and collective wisdom. We are intentional go-givers who show up fully for the whole team.
Brave Reflection. We look inward with honesty and courage. We build through active feedback, accountability, and the kind of openness that makes us genuinely better, individually and together.
If these resonate with how you actually operate, not just how you want to operate, keep reading.
Why This Role Is Different
As a Clinical Supervisor at Zeeva, you are a role model, clinically, professionally, and as a human being. Not because we expect perfection, but because we believe that how we show up matters, and that the people in our care deserve someone leading with intention. You model brave reflection, embody our values, and demonstrate what it looks like to lead with both clarity and care. We believe clarity is kind, and we deserve both.
You will maintain your own clinical caseload, staying grounded and engaged in the direct work you lead others through. You will carry meaningful responsibility for associate therapists, overseeing their clinical development, holding the standard for trauma-informed care, and investing in their growth every week.
In addition to supervisorial duties, you will provide psychotherapy services to clients while maintaining caseload commitments, and documentation and ethical standards, in accordance with organizational policies and applicable licensing regulations.
You will join a team of Clinical Supervisors committed to collective learning, shared standards, and continuous growth.
What You'll Own
- Maintain a clinical caseload (15 sessions per week at base level), staying present and clinically sharp, providing psychotherapy services using evidence-based modalities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of 6 associate therapists, including case consultation, clinical skill development, and documentation oversight in accordance with California BBS supervision, insurance payer, and Zeeva requirements
- Clinical quality oversight across case conceptualization, treatment planning, clinical documentation, risk mitigation, and evidence-based interventions
- Review and co-sign documentation for associate therapists in accordance with BBS and payer requirements
- Provide crisis support for your supervisees during clinical risk situations (these are seldom and we lean on our collective supervisor team and clinical protocols so you're never navigating these alone)
- Provide coaching, mentoring, goal setting, performance feedback and evaluations, and professional development plans when needed, always delivered with clarity and care
- Track licensure hours and ensure compliance with BBS supervision and scope-of-practice requirements
- Model Zeeva's values and clinical standards as a living daily practice, not just ideals
- Active participation in clinical supervisor team collaboration, collective learning, in-person team events, and organizational growth planning
Who You Are
You are a clinician who has never stopped being a student and a leader, or aspiring leader, who has never stopped asking how to be better.
You are energized by a good challenge. You want to be in a room with people who push you, inspire you, and hold you to a standard that makes you proud. You believe in cultivating honest feedback: giving it, receiving it, and growing through it. Brave reflection is not something you avoid. It is something you model and embrace.
You lead with clarity because you know clarity is kind. You coach with warmth because you know warmth builds trust.
You are a role model in the fullest sense. Not just clinically, but as a human being who shows up with integrity, presence, and purpose. You understand that you are a critical piece of something far greater than any one of us could build alone, and that excites you. You are looking for a clinical home that matches your dedication, honors your whole self, and gives you something truly worthy of your best.

Our documentation process is designed to be simple and streamlined, supported by technology-based tools that promote clinical accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, constructive feedback, and collaborative team leadership
