About the Role

Description

About EECO

EECO is a leading wholesale electrical distributor specializing in industrial automation. We help manufacturers, OEMs, and contractors keep plants running and projects on time with the right products, support, and market-informed pricing.

Help us convert insight into outcomes. Use analytics to identify where we can improve cost or price, collaborate with sales to ground decisions in market reality, and guide confident moves that grow margin and market share.

What you’ll do

  • Spot opportunities from data: Analyze trends in pricing, win/loss, cost changes, and product mix to highlight where SPAs can improve our cost position and where sell-price step-ups are likely to hold.
  • Partner with sales: Work shoulder-to-shoulder with account managers to validate price targets against market/segment context and provide clear, customer-ready options in active opportunities.
  • Build simple, seller-friendly guidance: Capture what works in lightweight playbooks—price ranges by segment/product, SPA triggers, and exception guidelines—that keep quoting fast, confident, and profitable.
  • Quantify impact & learn: Track outcomes of recommendations and promotions; report on margin lift, override reduction, and conversion effects to inform the next iteration.
  • Improve the engine: Recommend tweaks to pricing workflows, approvals, and tools to reduce friction while protecting margin quality.

Tech & tools you’ll touch

Excel (advanced), BI/reporting (Power BI/Tableau or similar), light SQL preferred; ERP pricing modules (Profit21 or similar); rebate/SPA management tools.

Requirements

  • Experience in pricing, finance, or sales in distribution, manufacturing, or B2B (typically 2–5+ years).
  • Strong analytical chops; comfortable with large datasets and turning findings into practical choices for non-analysts.
  • Collaborative communicator who enjoys partnering with sales, vendors, and leadership.

EECO offers a competitive compensation and benefit program. We are a drug free workplace and an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
