Forklift Operator / Warehouse Labor

The forklift operators are responsible for picking items using box clamp, single/double forks and regular forks on sit-down forklifts. This position requires operation of equipment larger than a standard 5K lift, experience is required. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, able to work with minimal direction, adaptable to changes as they arise, focused on details, and thrives in a high-pressure environment. The forklift operator reports directly to the site supervisor and is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position that operates in multiple locations based on business needs. 

• Hours of operation: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3:30 PM 
• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour 
• Receive weekly pay 

Primary Job Duties Include:

• Operate 5K Forklift with Forks 
• Utilize Single-Double Forks 
• Load and unload trailers 
• Operate Stand Up Forklift 
• Pick loads 
• Complete Rack Put-away 
• Receive and process shipments using RF Scanners 
• Use proper handling instructions per product specifications 
• Document product damages as they are identified
• Operate Box Clamp 
• Unload rail cars
• General housekeeping duties in production areas 
• Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations 
• Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred) 
• Must be 18 years of age or older 
• 1 year Warehouse Experience (preferred) 
• 1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience Required 
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shift
• Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations 
• Pre-hire Drug Screening Required
• Background Screening Not Conducted
