Surety Client Associate I

60% Client Services
Provides daily support to Client Advisors and Bond accounts.
- Assisting Client Advisors with requests and executing bonds
- Maintaining bond lists and expiration information
- Maintaining and update financial and underwriting information
- Maintaining control on bid bonds
- Processing renewals and cancellation requests.
- Aiding in monitoring the account receivables and collections
- Learning all Bond service standards and procedures.
20% File Management
- Documenting all correspondence, follow up for necessary financial updates at appropriate times, and keep the client files organized and up to date.
- Assisting Client Advisor in maintenance of bond files.
10% Teamwork
Works together with the team and with other departments; this includes conferencing with Producers and Client Advisors to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed.
10% Determination
- Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
Must hold applicable state insurance license or have the ability to obtain such within 90 days of employment. Must be able to obtain insurance designations as set forth by the organization’s education plan.
