About the Role

Description

Site Manager

  • Midtown Manhattan
  • Monday - Fri 9am - 5pm
  • Weekends and after hour as needed
  • Managerial Experience a MUST
  • Military / Law Enforcement Experience preferred
  • Salary $120,000 PER YEAR

Introduction

Established in 1918, Guardian Service Industries is a 4th generation family-owned Janitorial, Security, Pest Control, and Engineering & Operations staffing corporation. We provide a comprehensive range of essential facility management services to over 1,000 clients across various sectors, inclusive of commercial and government buildings, residential communities, schools, industrial facilities, transportation hubs, and retail outlets throughout the East Coast and New England.

The Role:

Most/all of the following tasks are to be completed daily depending on your role.

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Lead a team of security officers while communicate clearly and effectively with management to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Interact with clients on a daily basis to receive work orders and directions
  • Assist in payroll duties, including tracking hours worked for employees
  • Handle disputes and issue disciplinary actions for employees as necessary
  • Hire and terminate employees
  • Understand and be able to execute all aspects of security such as reporting, compliance requirements and provide high quality security services to protect people and property. 
  • Create and maintain employee schedules including replacement of personnel for sick an vacation periods;

  • Law Enforcement / Military experience
  • Ability to develop and grow customer  relationships
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment with the ability to work independently
