Robert Bosch Automotive Steering Ltd., with plants in Eger and Maklar, is an automotive supplier of steering gears, steering columns, steering shafts and remanufactured parts of the highest quality and in the most efficient way to the world's most renowned car manufacturers. • Installing and configuring new MES modules into existing systems with minimal disruption to ongoing production operations
•  Working closely with IT service providers, plant experts, MES key users, and the central solution team to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of MES modules across all Vehicle Motion manufacturing sites
• Identifying gaps in functionality, communicating these gaps, and developing technical solution proposals
•  Performing system tests
• Detecting software issues and using problem-solving skills and diagnostic tools to identify root causes
• Consulting with customers and providing technical expertise in the installation, support, and maintenance of MES applications
• Sharing experience and knowledge within the team
• Performing various tasks based on customer needs
• Undertaking travel activities for on-site consulting and implementation

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
• More than 3 years of experience as an application engineer / automation software engineer / control systems engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the industrial automation or manufacturing sector
• Experience with MES systems, ideally with the Nexeed Classic system
• Experience in automation technology, e.g. signal processing, control systems, and interfaces (OPC UA protocols, SQL databases, Windows-based operating systems…)
• Experience with scripting technologies required for automated deployment, or at least basic programming knowledge (SQL, C, C++…)
• Technical understanding of IT systems (SAP, MES, Windows, Linux, databases)
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Project management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and customers
•  Fluent English required, both written and spoken, for daily work
•  Independent, self-reliant, responsible, and reliable working style
