Associate Staff Engineer, SAP ABAP & Fiori

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience: 5+ years
• Should have sound experience in SAP Fiori & ABAP technical development.
• Must have hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP (Reports, Enhancements, OData, etc.) and SAP Fiori/UI5 application development, including custom and standard app configuration.
• Should be able to collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions across modules and platforms, including S/4HANA.
• Should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs and enhancements.
• Should be able to work on Classical and Interactive Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.
• Should be able to develop and consume OData services to support Fiori applications.
• Should be able to design and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 custom applications using SAP Web IDE or BAS.
• Should be able to extend and customize standard Fiori apps using Fiori Elements or freestyle UI5.
• Should be able to configure and manage Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, groups, and tiles.
   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it.
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs.
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it.
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations.
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken.
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
