About the Role

Description

Pay Range: $18 - $24/hr

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401, sick time and PTO after 90 days!

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Summary Responsible for preparing surfaces and applying powder coatings to various parts and products, ensuring high-quality finishes, adherence to specifications, and efficient operation of powder coating equipment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, ovens, and wash systems. 

· Apply powder coating to achieve specified thickness, coverage, and finish quality. 

· Responsible for training painters.

· Monitor curing processes and temperatures to ensure optimal adhesion and durability. 

· Conduct visual inspections of finished products for defects, runs, sags, or uneven coverage. 

· Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment and booth. 

· Maintain accurate records of production, materials used, and quality control checks. 

· Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). 

· Troubleshoot basic issues with powder coating equipment and processes. 

· Assist with inventory management of powder coat materials and supplies.  

Requirements

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in powder coating, industrial painting, or a related field preferred. Technical or vocational training in painting or finishing a plus.
