About the Role

Description

CompQsoft is seeking Lab Engineer for DISA MANDO project at Fort Meade, MD.


Position:  Lab Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, MD (Onsite)


Responsibilities: 

Based  on the direction from government develop test plans, conduct testing,  and prepare test reports for selected TDM transition methodology by DISN  chief engineers Provide TDM/optical connectivity to other programs for  integration testing with security and cryptographic equipment Provide  day-to-day support for lab connectivity for various test engineers  Support on-site and off-site testing with various TDM and Optical  vendors. Integrate test support with MPLS engineers.

Experience working in Lab 

Requirements

Security Clearance: Active Secret

Certification: IAT II (CompTIA Security+ CE)

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience : 3+ years


Requirements

Provide  in-depth engineering analysis, deployment, and transition plans of  transport level equipment in support of government strategic  modernization efforts as documented in the DISN Technical Evolution Plan  (DTEP) Support Planning and testing of legacy network access migration  of various interfaces, circuits, and vendor equipment to next generation  transport (NGT) Support to design node-level systems engineering plans  to migrate legacy infrastructure (i.e., Multi-Service Provisioning  Platform (MSPP), Optical Digital Cross Connect (ODXC).
