The Special Projects Lead is responsible for overseeing a team tasked with inspecting and repairing products identified as off spec or damaged from production and warehouse operations. This role ensures all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Lyons standards.In addition, the Special Projects Lead directs the assembly of fiber tote boxes to support production needs and coordinates various inspection activities and special projects as required.Key responsibilities include supervising daily team activities, ensuring quality and productivity expectations are met, completing all required documentation, and effectively communicating any issues or concerns related to special projects to the Production Support Manager.
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Schedule: Monday - Friday
(Weekend OT as needed)
Location: Fresno, CA

- Lead, supervise, and support a team responsible for inspecting and repairing off-spec or damaged products
- Monitoring daily workflows, motivating employees, managing multiple tasks and ensuring quality standards.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet daily production and project goals
- Conduct and oversee special project inspections and additional assignments as needed
- Train team members on processes, safety procedures, and quality expectations
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with product inspection, quality control, or repair processes is a plus
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Good prioritization and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing/manufacturing of foods and beverages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
