About the Role

Description

Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to support our dental hygienists in delivering high-quality preventive care to patients. This role plays an important part in creating a positive patient experience while helping promote oral health through teamwork, efficiency, and patient education. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine passion for serving patients. 


Pay & Schedule

  • Competitive starting wages based on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday

In addition to competitive pay, full-time employees accrue up to 200 hours (5 weeks) of PTO per year. Employees also enjoy employer retirement match contributions and early Friday clinic closures, supporting a strong work-life balance.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Current vaccination record meeting ACIP Healthcare Worker recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. One year of dental assisting experience
  2. Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or relevant work experience
  3. Certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification)
  4. One year of experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  5. Bilingual in Spanish
  6. CPR certification for healthcare providers
