A Day in the Life
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including but not limited to: minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning.
- Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting.
- Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties.
- Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders including, but not limited to, residents, tenants, the Property manager, Portfolio manager, office staff, and vendors.
- Complete all work in a timely and professional manner.
Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours requests
Requirements
- 2+ years general maintenance experience or equivalent training is required
- Familiarity with Oregon State and Portland Area Landlord-Tenant Laws helpful
- High school diploma or equivalent
